We’re born with no imperfections…like a rain drop before it touches earth. We come into this world with a promise from our creator of a life expectancy to live out our full days. We form bonds with people God has shown us we would meet once the earth has brushed our feet. Family and friend bonds are broken along the way and some hurt in the worst way, but what God didn’t tell us or perhaps we were tainted by things so worldly that just around life’s bin…life would be scrambled much worse than the best poet’s word play. See a sickness has been brewing and by now you have gotten word of its arrival now the race is on and you are fighting for your survival. You are saying to yourself God I thought I lived by your word and my days would be long…why is this happening….why is have you given me something that’s unbeatable. Many questions are running through your mind as you sit with your muscles tense on that uncomfortable doctors table, but what you don’t know now but will later that you have become that success story you read in your bible. The route home you have taken many times seems longer than ever and the turn of the key to your house feels light as a feather; your faith seems to be in question now but you know the flesh is not trustworthy….but what you don’t know is God is preparing you to tell your own success story. You know cancer is beatable; but you feel defeated battered and bruised. You seem to still be in the dark that this is all about you….you are to go and tell the world how you didn’t let cancer beat you; but the shock of the news still holds weight so it still seems like bad news. Years go by and you’ve seen doctor after doctor after doctor. You go through all kinds of treatment; you suffer from hair loss and many painful nights. You get one good night of sleep and God whispers in your dreams be strong believe in me and I’ll restore life. Sometimes your life is an example to others if you’re willing to endure the struggle, God’s people are peculiar their life story provides a window into Gods wonders. You are the biblical story that’s bigger than what’s at stake.
